# Supported Payment Methods

> Every payment method you can accept on SellAuth, what each one needs to go live, and the settings shared by all of them.

SellAuth does not hold your money. You connect processors and wallets that you already own, and buyers pay into them directly. Payouts therefore run on your processor's schedule, and crypto goes to a wallet address you control.

Add a method under [**Payment Methods**](https://dash.sellauth.com/payment-methods) in the dashboard. You can enable as many as you like; each one becomes a button on your checkout page.

## Card processors

Buyers see a card form, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where the processor supports them.

The **Checkout button** column is the default label on the button, which you can rename. It is not a full list of what the processor accepts, so a processor whose label mentions only cards may still offer wallets and local methods. The per-processor sections have the detail.

| Method | Checkout button | What you provide |
| - | - | - |
| [Stripe](/guides/payment-methods/stripe) | Cards, Apple Pay & Google Pay | Restricted API key, publishable key |

VenPayr and OVGC Payments settle to you in cryptocurrency while charging your buyers by card.

## Wallets and transfers

| Method | Checkout button | What you provide |

| [PayPal](/guides/payment-methods/paypal) | PayPal & cards | PayPal email, plus a client ID and secret for PayPal Checkout |

<Note>
Friends & Family style methods (PayPal F\&F, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Skrill Send Money) carry no buyer protection, so the sending platform can close accounts that look commercial. Set custom payment notes on those methods to reduce the pattern, and read the per-method guide before enabling one.
</Note>

Rewarble issues a client API key only once your Rewarble account has taken at least 500 EUR in lifetime deposits.

## Cryptocurrency

Crypto payments go into a wallet SellAuth generates for your shop and are forwarded automatically to the payout address you set. Details, withdrawals and troubleshooting live in [Crypto Wallets and Payouts](/guides/crypto-wallets).

| Coin | Network | Payout address format |
| - | - | - |
| Bitcoin | Bitcoin | BTC address |
| Litecoin | Litecoin | LTC address |
| Ethereum | Ethereum | `0x...` |
| USDT (ERC20) | Ethereum | `0x...` |
| USDC (ERC20) | Ethereum | `0x...` |
| Solana | Solana | SOL address |
| USDT (SPL) | Solana | SOL address |
| USDC (SPL) | Solana | SOL address |

Bitcoin and Litecoin are available on every plan. Ethereum, Solana and their USDT and USDC tokens require a plan with early access features.

USDT and USDC are not standalone wallets. They sit inside the Ethereum or Solana wallet, and moving them costs a network fee paid in ETH or SOL, so a shop that only ever receives stablecoins cannot withdraw them. Enable the chain's own coin alongside them. See [Crypto Wallets](/guides/crypto-wallets#tokens-need-the-native-coin-for-gas).

## Other

**[Customer Balance](/guides/payment-methods/customer-balance)** lets buyers top up a store balance and spend it later. You choose the preset top up amounts (default 10, 25 and 50), the minimum and maximum top up, and which of your other payment methods can fund a top up.

**Custom Payment Method** covers anything SellAuth does not integrate with directly: bank transfer, a regional wallet, or your own hosted payment page. Confirm payments yourself, or automate them through the API. See [Custom Payment Methods](/guides/payment-methods/manual). Requires a plan that includes custom payment methods.

## Settings shared by every method

Each method has its own credentials, but these options are the same everywhere.

## Choosing what to enable

* **Enable at least two methods.** Processor accounts can be frozen with little warning, and a second method keeps the shop selling while you resolve it. A card processor plus crypto is a common pairing.
* **Keep the checkout list short.** Each extra button is another decision for the buyer, so avoid listing several near-identical card options where one processor would cover them.
* **Match your buyers.** Razorpay for UPI in India, MisticPay for PIX in Brazil, Mollie for iDEAL and Bancontact in the EU.
* **Use fees to steer.** Percentage and fixed fees let you make the methods that cost you least the cheapest option for buyers.
